BERGS SECURITIES GRANTED ADDITIONAL AUTHORISATIONS BY THE SWEDISH FINANCIAL SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY

Company news

Bergs Securities is happy to announce that it has been granted additional authorisations by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Sw. Finansinspektionen). The authorisations cover the provision of underwriting commitments and the arrangement of bridge financing, strengthening the Company’s position in capital raisings for listed growth companies.

The expanded authorisations mean that Bergs Securities can now enter into underwriting commitments in connection with rights issues and other capital raisings, as well as arrange bridge financing. Bergs Securities’ role therefore no longer ends with advisory services and its role as issuing agent – underwriting commitments and the arrangement of bridge financing are now also covered by its mandate.

Through its authorisation to provide underwriting commitments, Bergs Securities can help ensure that a capital raising is completed to the intended extent. The company can also structure and arrange bridge financing, for example ahead of a planned share issue, transaction or other financing solution.

The new authorisations complement Bergs Securities’ existing offering within Corporate Finance, issuing agent services and Certified Adviser services – an important step in the company’s ambition to build a leading full-service adviser for listed growth companies in the Nordics.

The expanded authorisations represent an important milestone for Bergs Securities. We can now offer our clients a broader range of financing solutions and assume greater responsibility throughout the entire transaction. The ability to provide underwriting commitments and arrange bridge financing significantly strengthens our offering, particularly in capital raisings where committed financing and flexibility are often crucial. This is another step in our ambition to build a leading financial adviser within the Nordic small-cap segment,” says Stefan Lundberg, Head of Corporate Finance at Bergs Securities.
